In Stockyard City, you can find the cutest little shop right off Agnew. I was overwhelmed with all the candles, t-shirts, and most importantly the old-fashioned candy and soda! There was an entire wall full of old-fashioned candies, jars to pour from to take candy to go, and fresh fudge to choose from. This is a perfect shop to pop in and grab a Stockyards or Oklahoma t-shirt, a hat, a coffee mug, or even little games. You have to stop by this store!

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! This one is for you. Did you know that Oklahoma City is home to the world's largest feeder and stocker cattle market, the Oklahoma National Stockyards? Yup, that's right. Just south of the city, you will find a whole area dedicated to all things country. It's here that you will find Cattlemen's Steakhouse, Rodeo Opry, and Langston's Western Wear along with many other shopping and dining options. Over 100 years ago, the area started out as a cattle trading post and was the first major industrial effort in the city. This led to the growth and boost of the surrounding areas. With so much history to discover, the Stockyards is a fun place for anyone who is looking to enjoy a steak, find a pair of new boots, or just trying to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern city. Live cattle auctions happen every Monday and Tuesday and are open to the public, too!
