Porter is the self proclaimed "Peach Capitol of the World". Located between the cities of Coweta and Muskogee, Porter is a small town that hosts a big festival every July in celebration of their famous peach crop every year. Who doesn't love peaches and ice cream? This is the spot to eat, shop, and be entertained.

The 54th Annual Porter Peach Festival will be held July 16-18th, 2020. Last year's festival was a great time. A group of us traveled down to Porter which is only 40 minutes from downtown Tulsa. The mood was lively and the place was full of families and friends shopping in the various booths and purchasing baskets of peaches to take home. They always have live music, a car show, and plenty of stuff to do for the kids including arts and crafts. This is a family fun event held every year that is not to be missed.
